hhhhh: tonguexs à tonguexs

hhhhh is a fugitive publishing house that rethinks textual publication through orality. What are texts beyond the dry written word? How can they be captured, how can we share them? With stuttering, hesitation in the voice, and the sound of a humid breath? With whispers or uncomfortably long silences, with a lot of saliva or the mother tongue getting stuck in our throat. hhhhh does not produce printed publications but rather aims to transform the publishing house into a meeting place, an autonomous temporal zone. Thus, we publish by inviting artists and text workers for readings in domestic or domesticated environments. Co-founded in Geneva by the curatorial duo Mina Achermann and Erell Le Pape, hhhhh has no fixed place but takes place in many places.
